Gramavidya

Gramavidya Mangaluru centre came into existence on 20th November, 2016 with an idea of understanding the unique culture, climate and performance of human habitat in south Canara region. Gramavidya’s alternative technology dissemination activities are looking forward for a new context to adopt itself through learning from local tradition of building. Study of local vernacular tradition in building and conducting training in alternative technologies will be the present thrust area.
